Macbryte is an Ottawa-based, Canadian-owned technology company. We began by teaching
people who found computers frustrating — patient, one-to-one coaching, without jargon.
We now apply the same approach to small businesses: we build the website, set up the
tools, handle the technical work, and make sure the owner understands what they have.

We work mainly with trades and home service businesses — contractors, roofers,
landscapers, electricians, plumbers, cleaners and similar — across Ottawa, Barrhaven,
Nepean, Kanata and Orleans.

- **Website care and hosting**: Hosting, security updates, daily backups, monitoring
  and monthly content changes for a flat monthly fee. Plans from $99/month.
- **Google Business Profile setup**: Full setup and optimisation of a business's Google
  listing so it appears in local search and maps. $299.
- **Website rescue**: Fixing broken sites, recovering domain and hosting access, and
  taking over sites whose original developer is no longer available. From $250.
- **Lead notification setup**: Configuring a website so the owner is texted the moment
  an enquiry arrives, and the customer receives an immediate acknowledgement.

## Note on computer training

Macbryte previously offered one-to-one computer coaching for seniors and beginners.
We continue to support existing training clients but are no longer accepting new
training students. Our focus is now technology services for small businesses.

on the website rather than quoted only after a sales call.

**Q: How long does a website take?**
A: Usually two to three weeks once we have your content, photos and service details.

**Q: Do you only work with trades businesses?**
A: They are our main focus, but we work with small businesses generally. Most small
business websites need the same things — clear services, service areas, proof of work,
and an easy way to make contact.

**Q: Do I own my website?**
A: Yes. You own the website and the domain name. If you ever move to another provider,
you take both with you.

**Q: Do you offer ongoing support?**
A: Yes, through monthly care plans covering hosting, updates, backups, monitoring
and content changes. Support is Monday to Friday with replies within one business day.
