How to Use Facebook to See Photos of Your Grandkids

One of the best reasons to use Facebook is keeping up with family. If your children or grandchildren post photos, Facebook makes it easy to see them — once you know where to look.

    Getting Started

First, make sure you have the Facebook app on your phone or tablet, or open www.facebook.com on your computer. Ask a family member to help you log in if you're not sure how. Once you're in, the real fun begins.

    Find Photos From Specific People

To see photos from a particular family member:

    1. Type their name in the search bar at the top of the page
    2. Click on their name when it appears
    3. On their profile page, click Photos below their cover photo
    4. Scroll through their albums and recent uploads

    Use the Favorites Shortcut

You can add your children and grandchildren to your Favorites list so their posts always appear at the top of your feed. On the Facebook app, tap the three-line menu, then Settings & Privacy → Feed Preferences → Favorites. Add the people you care about most.

    React and Comment

See a photo you love? Click the heart (❤️) or thumbs up (👍) button below it. To leave a comment, just type in the box that says "Write a comment..." and press Enter. Your grandkids will love seeing your reaction!

    Stay Safe

Only accept friend requests from people you actually know. If someone you don't recognize sends you a request, ignore or delete it. And remember: you can always adjust your privacy settings if you're not sure who can see your posts.
